Can you believe it is May already? Not only that, but in under a week, Fibrewebs and I will be at the Old Bus Depot Markets again for the Celebration of Wool! This year it is slightly different however in that it is going to be even BIGGER! This year, we will be celebrating over TWO DAYS! Yes! TWO!

It's going to be INSANE! Come visit us on Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 May!

Right now, I am getting patterns printed and ready to go... and this year they are in a new, more compact and professional looking format! Not only that, but you can also get your online copy added to your Ravelry library with a new code system I am using in conjunction with the printed version of the pattern. (more info here on how to redeem)

This means that when there is an update, you can get the latest version. It also means that for some patterns you will be able to download the charted instructions, or additional variations! How is that for value!

While I am madly studying for uni exams and getting patterns ready, Carrie from Fibrewebs has multicoloured hands from all of the glorious yarns she has been dyeing... 37kg in total!! And this year there will be some new additions!

For all of you sock yarn blanket enthusiasts, I have convinced Carrie that she needs minis!! And they are LOVELY! There are 150 of them!! Although by the time you see them, they may be in my stash as I have been coveting quite a few!

There will be sweater quantities of DK and Worsted weight yarns, along with gorgeous fingering weight yarns in MCN, silk/merino and her amazing Platinum Sock!! There will also be some more sock blanks, doubles and singles and you will be able to pick up your very own Chiaogoo Needle sets!! But be aware that there are only a limited number available!!

There is a rainbow of colour that will be happening! So make sure you come and check out the stall, pick up a new pattern, some scrumptious yarn and some new needles!
