Needles & Bobbins: 25 March

It's a late update tonight, but I have spent my Good Friday knitting and watching some new (to me!) knitting video podcasts! Hopefully you have had a day off and been able to knit and relax too!

I have actually been working on some new designs and as I am hoping to submit them, I can't really show them off to you... but I will pop this teaser in. The pic below if of a new shawl I am working on, and I am now on the edging. I took this photo today while watching Dye Another Day, who are only on their 3rd episode, but I adore them! They make me laugh so much, and I must say... today I needed the laugh!! They have pepped me up and I have decided I must make a pair of pencil socks!! I just wish shipping wasn't so extreme to Australia (and that our dollar was better!).

This week I have also been working on the Molly Weasley's Technicolor Housecoat and I finished ALL the knitting!! So I only have all of the crochet to go! I need to finish the first sleeve, make the second and trim the edges! I also need to seam the knitted pieces, so once that is done hopefully I will have a better picture for you. You can see there is nothing on my needles and I cast off while watching The Knit Girllls.

I finally framed the galah cross stitch and framed it! My Nan was very happy with it, and she knew it was Joey right away!

A nice short and sweet update for you all tonight, I have entered mid semester exams which have been quite stressful, but I am looking forward to a break soon! I just need to remember that if I stick at it, I will have my degree next year!

Oh and some other knitting video podcasts I have been watching this week are The Knit Girllls (as always), Legacy Knitz and I am about to try Wool Gathering.
