Can you believe it has been over a month since my last Needles & Bobbins post? I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their well wishes and concerns while I have been away, your support has meant a great deal to me, and I really appreciate it. I have been having a few personal problems, which has kept me away from my website, emails and Ravelry, but I am hoping to get the Needles & Bobbins posts back up and running and in the new year getting back into the designing side of things. Aside from designing, I also work in the retail industry, and as you can imagine, leading up to Christmas it is quite chaotic, and very exhausting, so I am tired and overwhelmed towards the end of the year. In saying this, I am trying to find a few moments to myself to do a little bit of knitting for my own sanity, but it does mean that there probably won't be any new designs for a little while. In addition to all of this, as many of you are aware I have also become a Jamberry Consultant, which I am absolutely loving and having a total ball with!! I have also just learned that there will be a special for Boxing Day in Australia & New Zealand with 18 exclusive wrap!! Plus 2 never before seen wraps as bonuses for your purchase!! All for ONE DAY ONLY!!. Now I do want to keep this knitting focused, so I invite you to like my Facebook Page to see some sneaky peaks, and for some special bundles.
Also, I would like to correct my previous post and let you all know that if you live in Australia, New Zealand, Canada or USA you can purchase your Jamberry wraps from me by clicking the appropriate country. If you would like a sample, you can contact me here. Now, back to the knitting stuff.... Needles Over the last 6 weeks, I have done a fair bit of knitting, but not a huge amount (I would have expected to get more done), but I have some projects to share with you all. First up, is a large project... and a new design - Katerina. Katerina came about when I was approached by Jen from Candy Apple Lane to design a pattern using some 'mini skeins' of her yarn. I wanted to make a circular shawl with an interesting stitch pattern, and the shawl was named after a very dear friend who has helped me so much over the last few months.

This pattern can be purchased in a kit from Candy Apple Lane, you can find more information here. I managed to finish one of my Fancy Socks... which I am tempted to rename "My Happy Socks" because everytime I see them I smile. I have set this project aside for now while I work on another project...

My "Christmas Blues" socks... a gift for a friend! I'm lucky she has little feet!! These are made with Knit Picks Felici and as of this morning there is still some available!! This colourway is "Surf's Up".

Finally, I made a little stocking to hang on our Christmas Tree (when we get time to put it up!!) which will hold a present for Miss 7. I just need to sew in ends and add a loop to hang it.

My Christmas roster has doubled in hours next week, but I will try to post again before Christmas, if I cannot get back here, I would like to wish you, your family and friends a very Merry Christmas, or Happy Holidays and I hope you enjoy this time of year and get a chance to relax! Thank you for all of your support for my patterns and for me personally, it is very much appreciated!! Below is one of the Santa photos taken yesterday with Miss 7 and her new hand made Christmas dress!
