Can you believe we are already half way through January?! What is that?! While here in Australia it is really hot (melting, I tell you!! I feel like the Wicked Witch of the West!) I am still knitting away and I must admit, I have a deep love for air conditioning! (yes, that's me in the picture! haha!)

I have been going through and trying to make up some business and personal goals for myself to achieve this year, and one of those is keeping these posts as regular as I can. I know I love to see what others have on the needles, so please share with me on Facebook and Instagram - I am always around!

I am currently sitting in Bendigo, thinking of what I have on my needles and daydreaming of knitting more. As I mentioned in my previous post, I have quite a bit on my plate at the moment, so while I am getting to knit, I have a lot of other personal stuff keeping me busy too.

However... I did mention something new that I have on the needles at the moment, which will be a new design... so far it has no name, other than "Ollie's Jumper" as it is for my nephew Ollie.

As you can see, it is a bottom up, cabled design, which is something a little different for me. I am using Cascade 220 Superwash for it, and I am loving how it is looking and the feel of the fabric. I finished it late last night and I am eager to try it on my nephew.

I also cast on the second sock of my Fancy Feet socks on the way to Bendigo, which is exciting for 2 reasons; I love these socks and can't wait to wear them, AND I got to knit in the car!! I usually get car sick, so this is definitely a WIN!!

So far the toe is finished and I am part way through the foot.

If you are looking at making some socks, or even just joining in a KAL, why not check out the Shepherdess & Teggle Tots Stitch-A-Long group on Facebook? They regularly have KAL's and CAL's running and this time it is for socks!

I will also be casting on another jumper (sweater) for my nephew Jack, using this lovely heathered green from Cascade 220 Superwash. I have another design in mind, but unsure if I will start that, or make another "Ollie's Jumper".

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your kind words and loving support after my last post. You are all so amazing and have helped me look towards a happier future, hopefully with lots of knitting, designs, and new ideas and ventures!!
