Needles I seem to be on a sock binge at the moment. Last week I had started my Fish Lips Kiss socks, but on Monday I finished the foot section on both socks. My Knit Picks order arrived this morning, which means that I can now continue on with the socks. I think that first I will add in the toes so that I can get rid of the extra yarn/cable and streamline the socks.

So I decided to cast on a Christmas present for a friend, another pair of socks!! These are a blue with a small amount of green and from Ewe Give Me The Knits. The pattern I am using is Van Dyke Socks from Socks from the Toe Up by Wendy Johnson - I bought this 'book'/box when I heard about it on The Knit Girllls.

I have already finished one sock and am almost halfway through the second. It is so nice and fast to knit socks in a sport weight!!
Other than this, I have been busy behind the scenes working on getting the Scarecrow Mitts, Emerald City Beanie and Leaving Kansas Beret on Ravelry and ready for release/clubs.
Speaking of clubs, don't forget to check out the Knitters of Oz page as the Scarecrow MItts is now available for preorder!
Stash Enhancement As I mentioned earlier, my Knit Picks order arrived this morning!! It is mostly filled with sock yarn. The green is for the Fish Lips Kiss socks, and the black and white is just in case I need them for other socks, these (and the light blue) are Stroll. The pink is Stroll Glimmer and has a little bit of glitter in it. I got this to make socks out of some yummy yarn a friend dyed for me for my birthday. The light blue and the blue mix (Stoll Tonal) will also be for socks... yep... I see a lot more socks in my future. The dark blue and green are Wool of the Andes Superwash for an upcoming design. I am currently working on the samples for my nephews to model. In addition to all of the yarn, I also bought myself a lint shaver, some needle point protectors and a yarn strand guide to have a play with.
