What a week! I have had an amazingly productive knitting week this week, and I even have a little bit of stash enhancement!
Needles This week my greatest accomplishment was making a thank you gift for a wonderful friend of mine. In 5 days I made a shawl in a merino/silk blend from Moseley Park. The pattern is The Love of a Pirate by AnneMarie and the theme is the Princess Bride, which suits my friend very well.

I love the way the colours work in this shawl. It is not too overpowering for the lace, and gives it a little depth. In addition to the shawl, I have also gotten through another 2 stripes in my OMG Socks (mostly knit at school pick ups and swimming lessons).

And finally, I made up a baby version of the Emerald City beanie... want a sneaky peak?? This photo isn't the professional one, but it was a very fast knit, just in time for this post!!

Stash Enhancement Just a little bit more... My Knit Picks order arrived yesterday with some needles, a book, needle holders and just little bit of yarn to push it into the free shipping. The yellow yarn is their new range that has come out (Precosia Tonal in Goldfish) and the 2 smaller balls are the Wool of the Andes in Blossom and Dove.
