Sorry for the delay in getting this post out, there was a bit of family drama yesterday resulting in no posts. It also coincided with the end of Stash Dash for the year, so I was getting some final projects finished. Needles A few weeks ago I mentioned that I had finished a project, but was unable to share as it was for a swap. Now that my partner has it, this is the Tudora Cowl I made. I used Zara, and I love this yarn!! It was excellent for the cables, it really made them pop!!

However, this week I finished up the Dinosaur Beanie for Jack, but I forgot to get a finished pic before I gifted it. Hopefully next week I will have a pic of both him and his brother Ollie wearing them. Both projects were made with Bendigo Woollen Mills Luxury 10ply.

Last night I also managed to finish a cardigan I have designed called "Glissade". I don't have a pic to show you of the full final object, as I am hoping to send it off as a submission... but I have placed a teaser below for you.

In addition to these, I pulled out my knitting machine again this week to have a play around and I made up some panels/squares for the Great Queanbeyan Stitch Up (aka yarn bombing the Queanbeyan Bridge) I made these out of some donated 8ply acrylic yarn, but I learned that my machine works better with 4ply. To test this, and to play around with another design, I am attempting to convert my Autumn Skyline pattern to a 4 ply to work it on the machine... because I don't keep things simple at all. So far I have almost finished the back piece.

Bobbins Once again, there is nothing on my bobbins, but this afternoon I did teach Nessa (7) how to spin using a spindle we made ourselves. I thought I would share a little video of her spinning - after only a half an hour!!
