This week seems to be the week of finishing WIPS. There was no spinning at all this week, only knitting. Please don't mind all of my ends, all of my needles have disapeared and I will need to buy more tomorrow. Needles My Witchy-Poo Socks are finally finished... and the perfect fit! These are by far the best socks I have made, but this is all due to knowing the right stitch counts that I need for my feet. If you are having issues with getting your socks to fit the way you want, I recommend this pattern.

Now that these are finished, I have cast on another pair of socks using Knit Picks Felici, as I really want a self striping pair. However, I want to try and have the stripes be consistent, so I am using a different sock pattern so that I can hopefully keep the heel looking nice and not disrupt the stripes too much. However... this means using a different stitch count to my last pair. I have decided to make the XL sixe. I don't really need the extra width around my foot, but I do around my heel. Fingers crossed I can make this pair work for me too.

As I finished my Scarecrow Mitts last week, I used my left over yarn to make beaded shawl. This pattern will be released a little later, but this is the finished piece, blocking

I loved this pattern so much, that I wanted to make another one with a full skein of gradient, and multi-coloured beads to match. The yarn used for both is Nunnaba White Gum Wool 4ply.
