Since releasing the adult and child versions of Taliesin for test knitting, I have had people asking me about the baby version. Believe it or not, I actually knit this one up first, but I have since re written the whole pattern, which is why it has taken longer!

This is my first design with buttons in the raglan sleeve, I'm hoping the higher neckline will help keep babies warmer and the buttons will help with the neck opening.

Test Knitting Specs: Sizes: 0-3 month (3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months) Construction: knit in the round and flat, top down. long sleeves, buttoned raglan Target Number of Testers: 2-3 per size Deadline: 30th September 2014 Materials: Fingering weight yarn (4ply), Size 3 or 3.25mm knitting needles, 4 stitch markers, darning needle, cable needle, 3-4 buttons depending on size Gauge: 28 stitches and 38 rows over 4” or 10cm I will be holding the test knit in my group on Ravelry, this will enable me to keep all of my test knits in one nice, neat place, and will also make it easier for everyone to see what is happening with my designs. To sign up for the test knit, click here. You can also register your interest within that thread to be earburned when the pattern is released. Not interested in testing, but want to knit it? Good news! There will be a KAL coming up!! You can ask to be earburned in the testing thread if you would like me to let you know when it is released, otherwise if you have subscribed to the blog I will be posting about the KAL very soon!!!
